Working as part of a skilled engineering team, this role would suit an electrically biased engineer with mechanical knowledge.  The role is based on working a shift pattern of mornings, afternoons & nights Monday - Friday.  Overtime will be paid for any weekend working.

The Role

•             General plant & building maintenance (shift cover).

•             Fault finding on break downs.

•             PPM.

•             Identifying Motor faults.

•             Pneumatic & Hydraulic breakdowns.

•             Crane maintenance & breakdowns.

•             Installation of new machines.

•             New cable supplies.

•             PAT testing (6months and annually).

•             Compressor Maintenance.

•             Safety circuits.

•             Machine repair & improvements.

•             Responsible for the running of the electrical stores.

•             Various mechanical projects (removing, replacing machinery, overhauling machinery).

•             Design, make & installation of electrical control circuits.

•             Installation of high voltage machines.
